There are two types of programme, both leading to the same qualification: Integrated and Modular.
The integrated programme is rather dense and is particularly suitable for trainees with little or no knowledge in aeronautics.
The modular programme, which is more flexible, is composed of independent stages, which enables trainee pilots to gradually step up to the required level. It is the ideal course for candidates who already have previous flying club experience.
Integrated programme
Theory : The integrated ATP training is programmed for a period of 12 months and covers 14 modules of the Theoretical ATP (Air law, Flight instruments, Performances, Meteorology, Radio navigation, etc).
Practical : CPL-IR-MCC which covers 80 VFR flight hours, 60 IFR flight hours, and 61 flight simulator hours.
Duration : 23 months.
Selection : On file examination and evaluation, 17 years old minimum, A-level, Class 1 & 2 Medical.
Dates : 1 session per year in September.
Modular programme
Preparation for all 14 modules of the Theoretical ATPL: Air law and air traffic procedures, Airframe and systems, Flight instruments, Centering weight, Performances, Flight planning and management, Human performance and its limitations, Meteorology, General navigation, Radio navigation, Operational procedures, Flight principles, VFR and IFR communications.
Duration : 12 months on site, 15 months by correspondence.
Selection : On file examination and evaluation, A-level, Class 1 & 2 Medical, PPL holder.
Dates : 1 session per year in January for the on-site course, 1 quarterly session for the correspondence course.
The training course includes : 40 hours on FNPT II flight simulator, 15 single-engine aircraft flight hours, 21 twin-engine aircraft flight hours.
Duration : From 12 to 16 weeks.
Selection : On file examination and evaluation, regulatory pre- requirements.
Dates : 1 session every month.
The multi-crew cooperation training course aims at preparing and developing trainee pilot's relational skills, and also by guiding them to the allocation and delegation of the tasks to be carried out by the FP (Flying Pilot) or the NFP (Non Flying Pilot) during flight phases, in normal, abnormal or emergency conditions. The course includes 43 hours of technical sessions and 21 hours on FNPT II flight simulator.
Duration : 2 weeks.
Selection : On file examination and evaluation, regulatory Pre- Requirements.
Dates : 1 session per month.
