Student office

The student association, AZIMUTaero, brings together students from all of the ESMA training programmes and is also in charge of the student bureau.

It helps students to integrate and adjust to their new life while also making future students aware of the joys and excitement of the world of aviation.

Advantages offered by Azimut:

• Discounts throughout the year with partner companies and organisations (KFC, MacDonald’s, Montpellier nightclubs…).
• Discounts during organised visits (Bourget 2011, visits to Airbus workshops at Toulouse…).
• Sports fixtures, notably the entry of a football team in the Montpellier university championship.
• A newsletter for members providing information about projects and planned partnerships.

Events in 2010-2011

• Football: creation of a university team with training every Tuesday.
• November: Karting.
• December: Visit to Airbus workshops at Toulouse & Christmas dinner at the ESMA.
• January: Laser Game instructors vs students tournament.
• February/March: Gala co-organised with the Ecole d’Art de Montpellier
• April: Hiking in Pic Saint Loup
• 20th and 21st June 2011: Trip to Salon International du Bourget, Paris international air show.

The association also tries to obtain agreements with certain hotels to make accommodation easier for students during exam periods. In addition, several partnerships (aeroclubs, banks etc) allow students to benefit from attractive offers during their time as a student.

In close partnership with the ESMA, AZIMUTaero is there to create an even friendlier atmosphere with even more ‘aero’ and even closer to you. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us and why not get involved?
